Day in Our Village
Join us at the 50th A Day in Our Village, an Oak Park festival in Scoville Park for residents to learn about local businesses and community organizations in a fun atmosphere. The event features information booths of over 100 organizations, live music, and food from local restaurants. Zen Life and Meditation Center will host a booth to share information about meditation times, retreats, classes, and other ZLMC offerings, and Halau i Ka Pono Hula School of Chicago, ZLMC's sister organization, will give a Hula performance in front of the main stage at the event. Make a plan to volunteer as a booth helper or to come by to visit ZLMC's booth and watch Hula at this wonderful event.

A Day in Our Village - ZLMC Booth 2024
Can you spare an hour or two on Sunday, June 2? ZLMC needs Booth Helpers at Oak Park's A Day in Our Village. Booth Helpers sit under our tented table, answering questions, handing out information about ZLMC, and collecting email addresses for those wishing to join our mailing list. We'll provide a script for anyone who needs it. If you are not familiar, A Day in Our Village is a festival in Scoville Park where locals have the chance to learn about various businesses and community organizations in a fun atmosphere with live music and local restaurants selling food nearby. ZLMC would be one of 100+ organizations with a booth there. Please review the slots and sign up if you are available.
