When the stress in our lives becomes too great it can adversely affect many areas of our life — our emotions, relationships, vitality, mental health and physical well-being.

We at the Zen Life & Meditation Center, Chicago offer a way to help you begin dealing with this topsy-turvy western world. We can show you a simple way to live a Zen-inspired life that is grounded in Zen meditation practice. The lifestyle is accessible to anyone regardless of religion, belief or culture and requires no prior Zen experience. 

Through our broad array of programs you will find a Comprehensive Curriculum that will introduce you to living a Zen-inspired life and tools you need to apply these principles and practices in your daily life. We also offer Zen retreats to deepen your meditation practice and rejuvenate your energies. As a result, you will be empowered to find your way and live more effectively. We'll show you everything you need to know to do Zen practice and Zen meditation. 

We encourage you to consider getting started with our Core Curriculum. Each quarter we offer an introductory Foundations of Mindfulness Series of classes to ground participants in the foundations of living a Zen-inspired life. These classes are good for those new to Zen or in need of a refresher.

For those who have practiced previously, advanced Zen studies are available, either in-depth, small group study on classic Zen teachings or one-on-one training with a Zen teacher.  Our Zen teachers have a combined 35 years of teaching experience.
