Luncheon Celebration and Fundraiser
You are invited to a celebratory Japanese Zen-Inspired Annual Luncheon Fundraiser on Sunday, Nov. 11th! Japanese Zen is the inspiration for our Annual Luncheon Fundraiser this year. This luncheon supports ZLMCʻs annual operating fund.
We will begin the day with a special Memorial Service for Roshi Bernie Glassman at 8:15 am who died on Nov. 11th. Glassman was an American Zen pioneer in the White Plum Lineage.
Sunday Morning Zenʻs public meditation is at 9 am followed by a teisho entitled “Nothing is Missing” by our Zen master Roshi Robert Joshin Althouse at 10 am. Scrumptious Japanese food and entertainment will begin at 11:30 am until 1:00 pm. The luncheon is free and open to the public.
We are grateful for this amazing year of practice and we look forward to celebrating with you!
