Jukai Ceremony: Sunday, Dec. 5th at 1:00 pm
On Sunday, December 5th, at 1:00 pm, Joshin Roshi will give the precepts to Michael Brunner, in a public ceremony, called "Jukai". This is considered the first formal step in becoming a Buddhist. Michael is an Advanced Member of ZLMC and has completed studying the precepts with Joshin Roshi.
Jukai is a beautiful ceremony in which the community publicly witnesses Michael's commitment to living a Zen-inspired life of openness, empathy and clarity.
Everyone is invited and welcome to attend. Please come and support Michael on his spiritual path.
