Directions

The Zen Life & Meditation Center is located 1 block west of Austin Blvd at 38 Lake Street on the corner of Humphrey Ave. and Lake Street. It is centrally located between downtown Chicago and the Western Suburbs – only 30 minutes by car from Chicago Loop with easy, free parking. One block from the Austin Green Line Station, the Center is located in beautiful Oak Park, Chicago's first Western Suburb.

For Reiki Healing and private Zen Counseling, sessions are held in the residence of Reiki Master, June Tanoue and Zen Master Robert Althouse at 163 N. Humphrey Ave., Oak Park, 1/2 block north of the Zen Life & Meditation Center. 

By Train: The Zen Life & Meditation Center is conveniently located 1 block from the Green Line Austin Station. From the Station, walk a half block north on Austin Blvd. Turn left at Lake St. and walk one block. The Center is on the northwest corner of Lake Street and Humphrey Ave.

By Car:
(From Downtown Chicago) Drive west on Eisenhower Expressway (290). Turn right at Austin offramp and drive about 1 1/2 miles. Turn left on Lake St. Drive one block. The Center is at 38 Lake St. on the northwest corner of Lake Street and Humphrey Ave.

(From Western Suburbs - Naperville - Downers Grove) Drive east on (56)(88). That runs into (290). Turn left at Austin offramp and drive about 1 1/2 miles. Turn left on Lake St. Drive one block. The Center is at 38 Lake St., on the northwest corner of Lake Street and Humphrey Ave.

(From North Illinois) Drive south on (94). That runs into (294). Continue on 294 going south until you come to (290). Take that going east. Turn left at Austin offramp and drive about 1 1/2 miles. Turn left on Lake St. Drive one block. The Center is at 38 Lake St., on the northwest corner of Lake Street and Humphrey Ave.
