Zen Life & Meditation Center of Chicago offers a comprehensive core curriculum providing principles and practices for living a Zen-inspired life of openness, empathy and clarity. It begins with thePrimer Series, which grounds you in the fundamentals of living a Zen-inspired life. It continues with theGateway Series, which engages you in the essental transformative aspects of living a Zen-inspired life. TheLife Application Sessionsbuild upon the Primer and Gateway series providing you with key tools for applying and extending these teachings in your daily life.

Zen Life & Meditation Center of Chicago offers a wide array of offerings such as,meditation,retreats, workshops, and Fridays with Roshi. We also provide several different kinds of wellness programs fromPrivate Zen Counseling to Wellness Programs for Corporations. Our weekly meditations are free and open to everyone. If you are wanting to begin, but are not sure where to start, we suggest you try the Primer 1 class in our Core Curriculum.
Our Zen Teacher,Robert Althouse, is available for private counseling.
